Founded in 2015 as the diffusion line of Alia Bastamam, ALIA B celebrates a decade of redefining Malaysian womenswear with its signature blend of youthful charm and accessible luxury. Designed for a broader ready-to-wear market, the brand offers versatile, sellable designs that resonate with modern women seeking style and practicality.
ALIA B has collaborated with global and regional icons, including Havaianas, Toyota, and celebrity mogul Neelofa through her Naelofar line of scarves. The brand has also featured the region’s top celebrities in its campaigns - from Ameera Khan and Marion Caunter to Indonesia’s Raline Shah - cementing its status as a favourite among style leaders.

Alia Bastamam – The Designer
Alia Bastamam’s design philosophy is simple: she creates clothes she envisions herself wearing. A graduate of Raffles Fashion School, she’s celebrated for her flowing, resort-inspired designs that embody laid-back luxury for the modern woman. Her creations are rooted in an attentive and inclusive understanding of female characters, auras, and silhouettes - making her work deeply resonant with women everywhere.
Her designs exude sensuality and confidence, balancing elegance with a quiet, empowered femininity. While she presents a soft, ladylike demeanour, her creations tell stories of strength, curiosity, and individuality.
Since launching her label in 2010, Alia has received numerous accolades, including Designer of the Year at KL Fashion Week 2017 and Brand of the Year at the inaugural KL Fashion Awards in 2022. Over the years, she has presented collections at Milan, New York, and Dubai Fashion Week, establishing an international presence for the brand.
